All Natural Birth and Pregnancy Care Center's practice is based on a philosophy of client education, participation, and choice. Our beliefs are deeply rooted in the knowledge that birth is a naturally occurring experience. Our respect for nature and the laboring woman and her family's choice is essential. Our main concern is that the birth be a safe, empowering and a joyful experience.

At All Natural Birth and Pregnancy Care Center we believe that a pregnant woman needs information, support and gentle guidance. Our care is provided by licensed midwives who are experienced and qualified to independently manage the care of healthy women throughout their childbearing years. Women who have risk factors may receive collaborative management with a physician. In addition, we work affectively with other health care professionals within the community who are readily available if a referral is needed.

All Natural Birth and Pregnancy Care Center offers an array of services to childbearing women. We provide care for pregnant women including labor, delivery, and postpartum care. We offer birth control and family planning services as well as ongoing primary care for women. Visits are scheduled so that women do not wait long periods of time, instead we schedule appointments so that women have all of their time to spend asking questions and having them answered, receiving comprehensive one on one care, and receiving education on how to maintain a healthy pregnancy.

WHAT IS A BIRTH CENTER?

A birth center is a facility that provides care to women expecting to have a normal pregnancy and birth outcome. The birth center combines modern technology with a home like atmosphere. The service that expecting families receive is geared toward holistic wellness, supportive care, and informed choices. These are all important components that help to assure a safe and joyful birth experience.

At All Natural Birth and Pregnancy Care Center, women experience the freedom to express their cultural and religious choices. Women are offered care by midwives and other professionals who respect their decision and support their belief to deliver naturally. Women are encouraged to move about during labor, relax in the water, listen to music, eat light snacks and sip beverages. We encourage family participation and welcome children at birth. Women receive one on one hands on individualized care. There is no rush, no routine IV, no routine enema or admission blood work. We help women to develop a birth plan and we use it along with the appropriate monitoring of both baby and mom to assure an optimal outcome.

BIRTH OPTIONS

Because our philosophy is one based on choice we offer women the option of delivering at our birth center in a private birthing suite, in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of their own home, in the water at her chosen location or women may choose the hospital option.

Your Midwife can be reached 24 hours a day for emergency situations or if you have an urgent concern

COST AND AFFORDABILITY

We accept most HMOs and PPOs, Medicaid, Visa and Master card as well as a flexible cash pay policy. Ask about our Affordable Birth Care Program sponsored by donations from "SHE" Spirit Health and Empowerment Inc. This special program is for women who can not afford the high cost of a hospital delivery, or women who are not citizens.
